This tuner closes the gap between 300W and the large 3KW units.

Tunes 1.8 to 30MHz, roller coaster coil with digital readout, 6 pos. antenna switch, integrated 4:1 balun for symmetrical antennas. Dimensions 25 x 25 x 10cm.

Start now with the usual 100W, upgrade later to a power amplifier but stay with the same tuner. The MFJ-962E tuner takes max. 1500W PEP SSB, offering enough reserves for legal limit use (in EU). A wide matching range allows operation on any shortwave band from 1.8 to 30MHz. Offers an antenna selector for two coax- and one wire-fed antenna, illuminated cross needle instrument. The precisely machine roller coaster coil with digital readout and the two large var. capacitors allow evry fine tuning for best SWR.
According to the manufacturer, the MFJ-962E tuner differs from the MFJ-962D in that the antenna switching is now done by relays (and no longer by physical switches as with the "D")
