The MH-85A 11U is an optional Speaker Microphone with built-in snapshot camera for use with the FT-1DE or FTM-400DE.

The microphone has a fixed focus digital camera on the top of the microphone and two dedicated buttons for the camera in addition to the standard PTT. There are the shutter button and the transmission button that will iniatiate a C4FM Digital Transmision of the picture just taken.

There is a standard earphone socket on the bottom of the microphone to enable a small headset or earphone to be connected.

The Microphone cable has a special mini USB connector that is not compatible with standard mini USB connectors.

Duur maar wel kwaliteit

Ik heb deze mike aangeschaft tbv mijn Yaesu FT3DR. Werkt als een zonnetje. Aansluiting is wat vreemd en lijkt niet meteen voor outdoor gebruik gemaakt. Bij de MH-35 mike zit een klemmetje om de draad rond de antenne vast te maken. Deze mike heef tdat niet. De kabel is dikker en de mike is wat groter. Ik heb het opgelost door de krul van de draad een lag rond de voet van de antenne te twisten. Werkt ook en vooralsnog lever het geen storing op. Wel jammer dat de klem achterop de mike niette draaien is. Verder de Yaesu kwaliteit. En bij Handelsondernemiing Veenstra scherp geprijsd.
